Vivi Fortezza is back, the redevelopment project of the Medici Fortress of Siena.
From Friday 31 May and for the whole summer, one of the most evocative spaces in the city will become a real garden of events, including music, sport, culture, food and well-being.
The program of the event, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Siena, is created by the Prosoluto association (Pro +).
The main events of the event will be six: music, art & culture, sport & wellness, food & fairs, children and sustainability.
At all hours of the day it will be possible to stop by the Fortress to find something interesting.
There will be no shortage of points of administration, places where you can combine refreshing drinks with spectacular views. Furthermore, a pizzeria by Parmolaia Top Services will soon open in the main square.
For the European Football Championships, an LED wall will show images of the most interesting matches of the continental tournament for new “Magical Nights”.
The “Libri Vivi” exhibition, curated by the Intronati municipal library, will offer in-depth analyzes of contemporary books and classics of the past during the week.
On the occasion of the opening, starting from 7pm, a toast with the partners on the Bastione San Domenico will welcome all those present, under the notes of the musical selection of DJ Blade, member of the historic disco group Jestofunk, and the show organized by the University of Dance.
Among the most important events of next month, noteworthy are the Rumba de Bodas concert on 6 June, the street food festival Siena Mangiami on 7, 8 and 9 June and the musical events on 21, 22 and 23 June.
The Bolognese Rumba de Bodas on the 6th, starting at 9.30 pm, will make Fortezza dance to the pace of their Afro Latin funk sound.
For Siena Mangiami there will also be musical events: 2000mania organized by Vanilla Disco Siena (7 June), the UniSi Summer Fest by UniSi Eventi (8 June) and the concert by the Beatles tribute band The Quarrymen (9 June). Between the 21st and 23rd Fortezza will host Emanuelle (21 June), DJ Ralf together with some of the most important DJs on the Sienese scene (22 June) and Lucio Corsi (23 June).

Russell Crowe and The Gentlemen Barbers protagonists of the Sienese summer 2024 with an exclusive concert in Piazza del Campo. The musical tour of the well-known American actor who became famous thanks to the film “Gladiator” will stop in Siena on July 22nd.
